Movie full uploaded by MGMDigitalMedia www.youtube.com Any movie directed by 5 different people is bound to be confusing. This was, off course, no exception. Orson Welles reportedly insisted on including magic tricks into his scenes, a possible source of the friction between him and Peter Sellers. When Mata Bond swings into action, the background music is “Bond Street” ( www.youtube.com ) also scored by this film’s composer, Burt Bacharach. The real Bond Street can be seen in the later James Bond movie, Octopussy (1983). Peter Sellers and Orson Welles hated each other so much that the filming of the scene where both of them face each other across a gaming table actually took place on different days with a double standing in for one the actors. Peter Sellers often caused interruptions by leaving the set for days at a time. The rift between Orson Welles and Peter Sellers was partly caused by the arrival on set of Princess Margaret, sister of the Queen. Sellers knew her of old and greeted her in an ostentatious manner to ensure all cast and crew noticed. However, the Princess walked straight past him and made a big fuss over Welles. Nonplussed, Sellers stormed off the set and refused to film with Welles again. An enormous Taj Mahal-type set was designed for the film but never built. The real Taj Mahal can be seen in the later James Bond movie Octopussy (1983). The gadget used by Le Chiffre to cheat at Baccarat was a pair of infra-red sunglasses with x-ray capabilities. X-ray …

That man does not play the trumpet. He makes it TALK to you. Some may play faster, but none better.
fond memories ,, good stuff ,, good herb
one of the best-arranged and orchestrated pieces of music ever written, imo.

Casino Royale is so mod… I can’t get enough of Peter Sellers and David Niven! Days gone by…
one of the best films ever! i love it. you can watch it here newWATCHmovies(dot)com.
This is the most unoriginal, funny and weird Bond theme song evva!
The days when we had big stars, YES BIG STARS (not Megan ‘who give a sh1t’ Fox) that starred in the same Hollywood movies. Peter Sellers, David Nevin and Orson Wells did not let their ego’s collide with each other.
You could say ocean’s 12 had Pitt and Clooney…but that sequal was dire
que musica instrumental tan bonita y agradable.
@ACNC1 I agree with you that the original Casino Royale had huge stars, but you are totally wrong about no egos. Sellers and Wells HATED each other so much in this movie that they were almost never in the studio at the same time. Sellers got so mad that he left the film before it was complete (that’s why his character is captured early without much explanation). The dream sequence (him playing piano on Ursula Andress’ torso) was finished with outtakes. Just google to find out all of the mess.
Such a marvellous piece of music. So sixties!
This film is ausome, I love light harted films such as as this; I especialy like the camp suite maker neer the begging of the film.
Great theme song!!!!
